Today I got the Maryland ballot for the Gubernatorial General Election. I haven't a clue as to who is who and I just don't have the time (or interest) for looking into it.

Am I taking my right to vote for granted if I just vote for the democrats because they are democrats? Or am my taking my right to vote for granted if I don't vote at all?

What do you guys think?
