We were at the vet with Tag this afternoon. He's still suffering from allergies. For the next two months he's only allowed to eat his special anti-allery food and water. No treats. No biscuits. No bones. No peanut butter on a spoon. Poor pooch.

Just as we are about to leave, the vet says that he forgot to clean the anal sacs. I hear him say this and it doesn't register. I see him lube up his glove and it doesn't register. I see him poking about and it still doesn't register. He asks me to assist him and then the smell creeps up on me. What a foul foul FOUL smell.

Not what I signed up for when I bought a dog.
