Paris is really starting to grow on me. The Paris that is supposed to be so unfriendly to non-french speakers? It's a myth.

Lynn and I stayed in The Marais, which according to my travel guide is "arguable the most fascinating area of Paris". Narrow passageways with boutiques, galleries, and restaurants. A cultural mix of Jews, Algerians, Lebanese, and Asians. And the center of the Parisian gay scene.

We shopped and walked. We had tea and coffee and walked. We ate, drank rosé, and walked. We photographed (heh! did we ever) and walked.

Ilse de la Cité, the Latin Quarter, Place de Vosges, Pompidou Center, La Défense.

I have many photographs (ready later this week) and stories to share.
