This is a very nice sort of 'everyday picture'. And the 'kroketten' at FEBO's, mmm...
To Fred: these counters are not much seen here any more. As far as I know only FEBO has them these days.

i've seen a lesser version of that here but not as appetizing as those pictures at the top. i think if i see one of those, i would actually try it. hehehe.

Something about the tone of this picture intrigues me.
But it also intrigues me as a weird foodie. I remember when these were prevalent here in my hometown, mainly in the office buildings downtown. As a child, these or the Woolworth counter captured my attention. The food within was never actually healthy, but.. somehow it was so fun to obtain the product behind the door!
Sorta wished those would come back here.
